1.  WRITTEN DIRECTIONS:  At the junction of Nebraska Hwy. 4 and U.S. 136 on the west side of Beatrice, turn north on to Hwy. 4 toward Plymouth. Go 2.1 miles. We're on the south side of the highway at the bottom of the hill.  We are one mile east of Homestead National Monument.

3.  MAPQUEST FEATURE BELOW.   CAUTION:  If you use this feature, ignore the directions in Beatrice if it advises taking Hoyt Street.  Instead, find the square of Beatrice (junction of 6th and Court Streets).  Turn West on to Court Street (U.S. 136) until Hwy. 4 splits off at a light.  Go 2.1 miles.   Following the signs to Homestead National Monument will put you on the same path.
